  1. The Philosophy of Cerberus Development

  4. Cerberus Development operates based around several important philosophical
  5. concepts, and these concepts are evident in the software we produce.
  6.  
  7. 1.  The State of the Art of Advanced Machinery should be improved in
  8.     every way possible.  At the same time, the intellectual development  
  9.     of Humankind should be advanced through the stimulation of thought.
  10.     These two processes can mesh together in a mutually beneficial manner,
  11.     with more advanced machines and software increasing the frequency
  12.     with which thought is stimulated, and with thinking minds producing
  13.     more advanced machines.

  15.     Therefore, Cerberus Development will strive to produce software and
  16.     hardware products which are conducive to the stimulation of thought,
  17.     or which stimulate thought directly.  Additionally, it will maintain
  18.     an interactive and flexible philosophy which responds to both
  19.     changes in the State of the Art of Advanced Machinery and to
  20.     new ideas on the part of the members of Cerberus Development.

  22. 2.  The intellectual evolution of Humankind should not be determined by
  23.     financial superiority.  Information should be FREE, and software should
  24.     not be priced so exorbitantly that the ability and desire to obtain it
  25.     are limited to businesses and a few individuals.

  27.     Therefore, Cerberus Development will establish a system which allows 
  28.     any individual or business to obtain certain files for NO FEE beyond 
  29.     shipping or data transfer expenses.  Examples of such files are text
  30.     files, graphics files, and numerical charts or databases.  Additionally, 
  31.     Cerberus Development will always strive to provide its commercial and 
  32.         shareware software packages at a reasonable price, preferably far below 
  33.         the average price of similar software packages available elsewhere in the 
  34.     computer industry.

  36. 3.  As a clear and concise way of expressing the fundamental beliefs
  37.     of Cerberus Development, it will have as its motto the following:
